The start before the start

Here's what you can do to start your presentation strong. All before you even speak your first words...

Slow deep breaths,

shoulders back,

head up,

and just get going.

Oh, and don't forget to add a smile in there somewhere! :)

How does this help your presentation?

Slow deep breaths: Calm nerves and clear your mind.

Shoulders back, head up: Proper posture not only exudes power, it actually makes you feel more powerful too. It also helps you project your voice and establish eye contact.

Just get going: Starting is often the hardest part - but once you do, you'll be well on your way.

And as for the smile: Helps you build connection and engage your audience. Also scientifically proven to reduce stress.

Set yourself up for success with the start before the start.
